RAIN DROPS- A QUATERN

A quatern is a french form of poetry. Rhyme scheme- Abab cAca adAd eaeA A- refrain line Syllabic scheme- 8 syllables per line. The thunders roar and rain drops pour, Over green leaves and thatched roofs. Rivers and ponds swell more and more. Rain drops clatter like trampling hooves. Lightening flash and those dark clouds grin.  The thunders roar and rain drops pour. Cool, pure rain drops wash every sin Of each man and comfort his core. Little children float boats to explore Wonder lands which lie in their dreams. The thunders roar and rain drops pour. Paper boats sink with childish screams. A poet sits alone with his pen At cool nights… other people snore. A good wet poem the world does gain. The thunders roar and rain drops pour.
